Mithai to grow, not to eat. The Diwali Grow Kit from Purple & Pure is a Deepavali gift that looks like Indian sweets but grows into plants. It is a complete kit: seed mithai pieces, cocopeat and fertiliser, all packed in a festive tin that doubles as the planter. Plant the mithai in the tin and watch it grow into green amaranthus and bright marigold, the flower of Diwali garlands and rangoli.
Please note: the mithai pieces are made of seeds shaped like sweets. They are for planting only and are not edible.
What's in the kit
- Seed mithai: seeds shaped like Indian sweets
- Cocopeat growing medium
- Fertiliser
- A festive Diwali tin that you use as the planter
- Grows: amaranthus and marigold
- SGD 12 per kit
Everything you need is in the tin, so there is no need to buy soil or a pot.
How to plant it
- Moisten the cocopeat and fill the tin with it.
- Mix in the fertiliser.
- Place the seed mithai on top and cover it lightly with cocopeat.
- Water daily and keep the tin in bright light.
Seeds sprout in 7 to 14 days.

No. The pieces only look like mithai. They are made of seeds and are meant to be planted, not eaten. Keep them away from young children who might mistake them for sweets.

Orders below $30 SGD : Flat $4 shipping is added at checkout.
Same day shipping option is available for orders placed on the same day before 9am for below charges:

Transit time can range from 2-3 business days depending on your location in Singapore.
All orders are sent out by Courier. When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.
Please note, orders will be left in a secure location at your residence if no one is home. Please try to ensure someone is home to receive the order, or consider delivering to a work address. We will not be held responsible for missing orders. Please double-check your address on the order form, especially unit-numbers.
If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us @ hello@purpleandpure.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Malaysia - Free express shipping for orders above MYR 250, otherwise its MYR 25 for shipping for orders below MYR 250.

Return
We are confident you will love all of your purchases with us. However, we understand sometimes things don’t work out, and you wish to return an item.
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with an item, you may return it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. The item must be unblemished, in the condition it was sent, and in its original packaging.
You will be required to pay for return shipping costs.

Once the item is received, please allow 1-2 days for your refund to be processed.

Purple & Pure is proud to be part of the Zero Waste Packaging Initiative which is a ground-up movement started to encourage businesses to adopt a circular packaging system, provide support and recognize businesses who reduce their waste through those means.
We use clean, reused packaging for all your orders. Whether it's a recycled box or mailer, or reused bubble wrap, we're dedicated to being as eco-friendly as possible to minimise waste.
For all self-collection orders and pop-up events, your items will come in a recycled paper bag or you may bring your own bag too.
